windows 10 upate no longer longer able to use Delta Force

I have an issue where I am no longer able to start any of the Delta Force: Xtreme 2 applications. When I click on the icons to start the game I get this as a reply :You must first run the game as an administrator in order to active the product:.

This started yesterday after Microsoft updated the windows 10 software. Any ideas on how to fix??

Charlie what I would try to do is create a new folder in your root directory. C:\BOMOD15. Copy and paste the game from your program files/novalogic/BOMODFolder to the C:\BOMOD15. Run the game from this folder and see if it works. I would guess it has to do with User Account Controls. I am off work this week let me know if you need any help on this.

I would need to see it to figure out why it isn't working correctly. I have all the windows 10 updates and not having any issues. I am sure there is a simple fix. When will you be on?

Did you try right clicking on the Black Ops X2 shortcut, click on Compatibility, Change settings for all users, and checking Run this program as an administrator?

Charlie, this is absolutely of no help but when my machine updated to Win 10 everything worked fine except my ability to get at the maps files I've created.

I may suggest reinstalling DFX2 in a folder on your desktop and then installing the MOD over it. That worked for me in that I could get at my map files as well as the game executable file.
I did have to right click on my DFX2 game Icon and drag it to the desktop and tell it to create a shortcut and that's what I currently use to join the server.

For what it's worth.

If all else fails, my go to guy is Blueleader. He's helped me in figuring out computer SNAFU's related to the game.
